The following rules are for the safety of all Alameda Swimming Pool Association (ASPA) members, guests and lifeguards. Lifeguards and Keyholders have the authority to enforce the rules, including asking individuals to leave the pool area, in order to maintain a safe environment.

No smoking, alcohol or drugs in the pool site.
No animals in the pool site. Animals must be kept outside of the gate.
Jumping and Diving are only allowed in the 5 foot area of the large pool.
Eating, drinking, chewing gum is only allowed on the grassy area and picnic tables by the grass.
Flotation devices are not allowed. This includes, water wings, life vests, pool noodles, beach balls, etc.
Kickboards and swim equipment are only allowed during lap swimming and classes.
Toys are not allowed in the pool. The only water toys that are allowed are diving toys that sink to the bottom of the pool.
No running on deck.
No horseplay, pushing or wrestling.
