Paid Guard Sign-ups

Welcome to the ASPA Paid Lifeguard Sign-Up page! 

ASPA members and registered lifeguards (non-members) can use this site to sign up for paid lifeguard shifts for the 2025-26 swim season. 

If you haven't completed the necessary paperwork to become a paid lifeguard, please contact k8rizzo@gmail.com. 

Shifts are broken down by pool area: 

• Lincoln and Franklin Large Pool (must be American Red Cross shallow water certified to sign up for shifts)

These shifts are during Family Swim on the weekends and during weekday morning lap swimming. Hourly rest periods must be called by the lifeguard -- by whistle -- for approximately 10 minutes beginning on the hour, every hour. During rest periods, the pool will be cleared of all swimmers to allow the lifeguard to take a break. The person who fulfills these shifts will be compensated.
